Digital Innovation / Platform Launch

Mobile Ordering Platform Launch (MIA2GO)

In partnership with the Miami-Dade Aviation Department (MDAD) and Servy, we led the development and launch of MIA2GO — a mobile ordering platform designed to transform the airport dining experience at Miami International Airport.

This initiative introduced a seamless, contactless ordering system allowing passengers to browse, order, and pick up food and beverages across airport concessions. Our team played a key role in coordinating with stakeholders, onboarding vendors, training staff, and executing a full-scale rollout across multiple terminals.

Beyond enhancing convenience and operational efficiency, the platform established a new e-commerce channel within the airport ecosystem, expanding how and where transactions occur. By enabling digital ordering at scale, MIA2GO increased order volume, and unlocked incremental revenue opportunities for concessionaires, driving online sales and diversifying revenue streams across the airport.

Kids Works Retail Experience Design

In partnership with Hudson by Avolta, we led the transformation of a former Calvin Klein retail space at Miami International Airport into a vibrant Kids Works concept designed to engage families and young travelers.

This project involved reimagining the retail environment from the ground up — shifting from a fashion-focused storefront to a playful, experience-driven destination. Our team developed a bold visual identity, immersive design elements, and a cohesive in-store experience aligned with the new brand direction.

The result was a complete brand and space transformation that enhanced customer engagement, increased visual impact, and created a memorable retail experience within a high-traffic airport setting.

As managers of the MIA retail concessions marketing program, we led a variety of community-driven initiatives focused on supporting local and global causes.

Our efforts included organizing donation drives, supporting disaster relief initiatives, and partnering with organizations such as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the Live Like Bella Childhood Cancer Foundation. These programs helped provide essential resources while fostering a strong connection between the airport, its passengers, and the broader community.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we also played a key role in rapid response efforts—supporting safety initiatives, coordinating communications, and assisting in the implementation of on-site testing solutions.
